Why we fit Anker SOLIX
The X1 is a hybrid single-phase system: one unit manages the solar array, the battery and the household demand together, which keeps the installation simpler and the commissioning cleaner.
It is modular. A power module sits on top and battery modules stack beneath it on the same footprint, so a household that wants a smaller battery now and more capacity later is not buying the wrong box today.
The monitoring is good enough that a fault shows up as a notification, not as a bill three months later.

Anker SOLIX questions we get asked
Can I add more batteries later?
Yes. Battery modules stack beneath the power module, so capacity can be increased later without changing the footprint.
Can it go outside?
We have installed X1 units externally on a prepared base as well as in garages and plant rooms. Access, temperature and distance to the supply decide the best spot.
Will it keep the house running in a power cut?
With the whole-home backup arrangement, yes. What it can run and for how long depends on the capacity and your loads, which we work through at design stage.
How does it compare with Sigenergy or FOX ESS?
All three are hybrid systems we install. The right one depends on capacity, budget, backup needs and where the equipment will live. We will show you the options.
