Most domestic solar installs are finished in one to two days. Adding battery storage or an EV charger can add a day. We'll give you a firm date at the design stage rather than a vague window.
You don't have to have one, but without storage the electricity you generate while you're out gets exported rather than used. An Anker SOLIX battery holds that surplus back for the evening, which is when most households use the most power. We'll show you both scenarios with your own numbers so you can decide.
Panels still generate in diffuse light, just less than in full sun. Your system draws from the battery first and the grid second, so you're never without power — you simply buy less of it.
For most UK homes, roof-mounted solar falls under permitted development. Listed buildings and conservation areas are the usual exceptions. We check this for you before anything is ordered.
